From America?s Election Headquarters.

(Gingrich) ?Given the size of his organization, given the number of primaries he has won, he is far and away the most likely Republican nominee.?

Newt Gingrich, on FOX News Sunday, signaling that his time on the trail as a candidate may be near its end, and that he?s going to turn his support over to former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.

(Gingrich) ?If he does get to 1,144 delegates, I?ll support him. ?I?ll do everything I can this fall to help him defeat Obama.?

Gingrich?s campaign is running out of money, but maybe not out of steam yet. ?He says he?s seeing a great response for the upcoming primary states of Delaware and North Carolina.

In Washington, Jill Nado, FOX News Radio.

So what about Romney?s chief rival, Rick Santorum?
